“Complex of swimming pools” internal rules.
Definitions:
“Complex of swimming pools” – group of areas that consist of shared areas, 3 swimming pools in the 2nd storey, men and women’s dressing rooms, viewers’ stands, trainers’ area, administration’s area, employees’ area and 3rd storey “Recreation area”.
“Swimming pools’ area” – “The large swimming pool” – 25 m x 21 m, 8 lanes and two “Small swimming pools” – 10 m x 15 m.
“Recreation area” – two hot tubs, swimming pool with current and massages, sauna, Russian and Turkish bathhouses, aromatic sauna, cool swimming pool, children’s entertainment swimming pool, “water bucket shower”, entertainment shower, sanitary facilities.
The rules come into force when “VALMIERAS OLIMPISKAIS CENTRS” LTD branch “COMPLEX OF SWIMMING POOLS” is in actual fact completed.
1.1. “VALMIERAS OLIMPISKAIS CENTRS” LTD. hereinafter – Valmieras OC, branch “Complex of swimming pools” hereinafter – complex of swimming pools, internal rules hereinafter – rules, are created in order to provide pleasant, safe and successful Complex of swimming pools’ activity.
1.2. Every visitor’s duty is to acknowledge and follow the internal rules of “Complex of swimming pools” before visiting the areas of swimming pools and recreation areas, hereinafter – rules.
1.3. The rules are placed inside the visitors’ lobby, swimming pools’ areas including dressing rooms, recreation areas and ‘Complex of swimming pools’ web page www.valmierasbaseins.lv of “VALMIERAS OLIMPISKAIS CENTRS” LTD. hereinafter – Valmieras OC.
1.4. Valmieras OC is not responsible if the visitor does not follow the rules, ‘Complex of swimming pools’ employees’ instructions, placed warning signs, written messages, harms own’s health, threatens own or others’ health and safety, does material or moral damage to the third person.
1.5. Visitors of the “Complex of swimming pools” are responsible for their own health, physical condition, swimming skills while visiting “Complex of swimming pools”.
1.6. Before using the services provided by “Complex of swimming pools”, visitors must evaluate own health. If during visitors’ time in “Complex of swimming pools” visitor’s health worsens, he or she must immediately seek medical help from the employees of “Complex of swimming pools”.
1.7. Employees of “Complex of swimming pools” have the right to remove the visitors if they do not follow the internal rules, employees’ instructions, placed warning signs and written messages. In the previously mentioned cases, the visitors do not get their money returned.
1.8. Due to safety reasons, the employees of “Complex of swimming pools” have the rights to ask visitors to see their personal things and bag content.
2.2. When purchasing a subscription to the “Complex of swimming pools”, the visitor must show an identity document (ID).
2.3. Visitors who based on the price list are entitled to a discount when purchasing a ticket or a subscription must show a document that confirms the visitors’ conformity to receive a discount.
2.4. Children up to age 12 can use “Swimming pools’ area” and “Recreation area” only under the supervision of adults (min. age is 18). Adults take full responsibility for the health and behaviour of the children.
2.5. Visitors have the rights to use the services of “Complex of swimming pools” with an electronic wristband that is given by administration’s employees:
2.5.1. Yellow wristband – visitor has purchased a one-time visit or subscription of “Swimming pools’ area”. Time for the visit is 90 minutes;
2.5.2. Blue wristband – visitor has purchased a one-time visit or subscription of “Recreation area”. Time for the visit is 150 minutes;
2.5.3. Red wristband – visitor has purchased a one-time visit or subscription of “Recreation area” and “Swimming pools’ area”. Time for the visit is 150 minutes;
2.6. Receiving an electronic wristband, time is not counted for visitors with special needs and their guides.
2.7. If “Complex of swimming pools” visitor has lost his or her electronic wristband, he or she must pay the amount of 10,00 euros for the renewal of the wristband.
2.8. “Swimming pools’ area” and “Recreation area” can only be accessed using electronic wristbands that are personalized and programmed based on the type of a purchased visit and given to the visitor. All of the services are given based on the approved price list of “Complex of swimming pools”.
2.9. Visitors can get information about their locker’s number and the time spent by the terminal in visitor dressing rooms, “Swimming pools’ areas” and “Recreation area”.
2.10. The visitors are forbidden to give electronic wristbands to third persons.
2.11. Before using visitors’ dressing rooms of “Complex of swimming pools”, one must put his or her outerwear and outdoor shoes in the visitors’ wardrobe that is in the lobby of “Complex of swimming pools”. Administration of “Complex of swimming pools” is not responsible for the visitors’ personal items that are left in the wardrobe.
2.12. In the dressing rooms, visitors must wear clean shoes. The visitors are forbidden to go into dressing rooms, “Swimming pools’ area” and “Recreation area” wearing outdoor shoes.
2.13. Dressing room’s locker can be opened and closed with an electronic wristband. It is the visitors’ duty to check their lockers safety when it is closed. When finishing the visit, visitors must leave the locker opened.
2.14. The Complex of swimming pools does not store personal items of the visitors but provides wardrobe and dressing rooms’ lockers. The Complex of swimming pools administration does not take any responsibility for personal items that are left in wardrobe or dressing rooms’ lockers.
2.15. Before entering into the “Swimming pools area” and “Recreation area” visitors must have a shower without a swimsuit and with detergent, visitors must follow all of the hygiene requirements as well.
2.16. Moving on the Swimming pool and Recreation areas, dressing rooms, shower and toilet floors visitors must take into account that the floors can be wet and slippery.
2.17. The visitors are forbidden to use hair drying machines (hair dryers) with damp or wet hands. While using the hair drying machines one must keep a distance between one’s hair and the hair drying machine.
2.18. In the Swimming pool and Recreation areas one can wear a robe, rubber slippers or be barefoot, swimming trunks and swimsuits, swimming caps, towels can also be used. The visitors are forbidden to wear swimming trunks – beach shorts with metal elements and pockets.
2.19. While in “Swimming pools’ area” visitors must wear swimming caps. The recreation area can be used without swimming caps.
2.20. It is forbidden to bring in Recreation area equipment from “Swimming pools’ area”.
2.21. Adults who visit “Complex of swimming pools” with infants or small children evaluate and take responsibility for the necessity of waterproof diapers for the children. Children up to age 3 are allowed to visit Swimming pools and Recreation areas with waterproof diapers.
2.22. Visitors must take into account the length of visitation times and subscription expiry dates that are indicated in the price list of “Complex of swimming pools”.
2.23. Swimming lessons for planned swimming practices, education institutions, and groups of people take place based on a planned schedule.
2.24. Administration of “Complex of swimming pools” has the rights to stop the visitors from entering into Swimming pools and Recreation areas if the amount of visitors in those areas exceeds the maximum amount of allowed visitors based on internal rules of “Complex of swimming pools”.
2.25. Visitors have to evaluate their health and acknowledge instructions of available services and machines before using Recreation area’s bathhouses, baths, and pools’ hydro massage machines.
2.26. After each use of bathhouse visitors must rinse themselves in a shower.
2.27. In bathhouses with wooden finish, visitors must place a towel or a pallet on to the wood before sitting down.
2.28. While visiting the Recreation area’s bathhouses it is necessary for visitors to evaluate their own abilities and not to spend more than 10 minutes in bathhouses if:
2.28.1. For a long time one has had great physical activity;
2.28.2. One has had sleep disorders;
2.28.3. If one has health problems especially if those are heart or vascular diseases;
2.28.4. If one uses a particular bathhouse for the first time;
2.29. It is dangerous for visitors’ health to touch Recreational area’s bathhouses’ heating systems and it is forbidden to put any objects or clothes on the bathhouses’ heating systems.
3.2. Bring food and drinks and to eat/drink them in areas of “Complex of swimming pools”.
3.3. Bring glass-ware into “Complex of swimming pools”.
3.4. Bring and use alcohol or drugs.
3.5. Enter Swimming pools and Recreation areas with chewing gum.
3.6. Spit onto the floor or into the water.
3.7. Sort out one’s ‘natural needs’ out of sanitary facilities.
3.8. Scream, whistle, and run in Swimming pools and Recreation areas.
3.9. Enter “Complex of swimming pools” with pets.
3.10. Be without swimsuits or swim trunks in the “Complex of swimming pools”.
3.11. Visit the “Complex of swimming pools” with acute illness symptoms, raised temperature, fever, conjunctivitis, skin or other contagious illnesses, open wounds or bandages.
3.12. Carry out any type of shaving or epilation process in the premises of “Complex of Swimming Pools”.
3.13. Leave children up to age 12 unsupervised.
3.14. Jump into pools from their sides.
3.15. Not taking into account informative signs and messages that are placed in the “Complex of swimming pools”.
3.16. To sit or stand on the large swimming pool’s lanes.
3.17. To visit the “Complex of swimming pools” in a special diving suit, diving fins, use diving equipment unless the visitor has received a written approval from the administration.
3.18. Pregnant women are not allowed to use the Recreation area’s hydro massages and current’s devices.
3.19. Use bath brooms, body cosmetic products (honey, used coffee grounds, clay) in bathhouses and other areas of the “Complex of swimming pools”.
3.20. Pour water or other types of liquid onto bathhouses’ heating systems, to put towels or any other items on electrical devices, bathhouses’ stove stones.
3.21. Take pictures or videos in the “Complex of swimming pools” or wardrobes unless the visitor has received a written approval from the administration.
3.22. To be in the swimming pool viewer stands, except when public events are taking place.
3.23. Sell and advertise dietary supplements, dietary food, and sports food.
3.24. The visitor is responsible for the consequences of own behaviour and actions and for the damages made to the “Complex of swimming pools” or the third person.
3.25. If one does not follow the prohibition rules employees have the rights to prohibit him or her to use the services of the “Complex of swimming pools”. In case of one not following the rules repeatedly, the administration of “Complex of swimming pools” have the rights to annul the visitor’s subscription or entrance card without a refund.
4.2. Working hours of “Recreation area” are set – on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 to 22:00 (last entry 20:40). – on Tuesdays from 16:00 to 22:00 (last entry 20:40). On Thursdays and Fridays from 14:00 to 22:00 (last entry 20:40). On Saturdays from 10:00 to 22:00 (last entry 20:40), on Sundays and holidays from 12:00 to 21:00 (last entry 19:40).
4.3. The visitors must leave the Swimming pools and Recreation areas 30 (thirty) minutes before the end of working hours, but shower and dressing room area 10 (ten) minutes before the end of working hours.
4.4. Due to educational institution swimming lessons, sports competitions, different events, and maintenance work the working hours of “Complex of swimming pools” can be restricted. The actual schedule of the “Complex of swimming pools” is put up on the website www.valmierasbaseins.lv

5.2. The validity period for 1 (one) month subscriptions of children’s swimming lessons groups is 30 (thirty) calendar days from the moment of their activation. The swimming training group subscription must be renewed within 7 (seven) days after the last lesson is used or the subscription expires if all lessons have not been used, otherwise the place in the group is not saved.
5.3. In cases where the child does not come to swimming lessons due to illness, by presenting a doctor’s note, it is possible to extend the subscription once for 30 calendar days.
5.4. Both children and adults must wear swimming caps during the lesson.
5.5. It is forbidden to leave children under the age of 12 (twelve) without adult supervision.
5.6. At the end of the swimming lesson, the swimming pool area must be vacated.
